GH210 quart pitcher woodfired black

A fine pitcher with stripes and ash. The pitcher has a black glaze at the top with a lot of wood ash from the wood kiln making a beautiful coloration throughout. This piece also has stripes brushed on with a Japanese calligraphy brush. This is one of my standard quart (aprox.) pitchers that I first learned to make while living and working as an apprentice in England in the lat 70's. Perfect for brewing iced tea, orange juice, or a bouquet of fresh flowers.
