Thank you for looking at our Pine Mills Pottery: Online Policies. We want you to be happy. We want you to be delighted when you open your box from Pine Mills Pottery. To that end we do our very best to make this an experience you love, that you tell your friends about, and that you want to repeat.

Shipping in the Continental USA
Shipping, packing, and insurance within the Continental USA are included in the purchase price of everything in our virtual gallery. After you place an order from this site, it will be shipped to you within three work days by USPS, Fedex, or UPS. Over forty years of shipping ceramics we have learned that over-packing is the best practice to avoid damage and delays. It is very rare that our pieces are damaged in shipping, but we fully insure everything we ship just to be sure you are covered.

International Shipping
We can ship internationally for an additional $30 per item plus the actual cost of shipping. Sometime this can be reasonable, sometimes not depending on the country and items shipped. We are able to use some a Fedex International service at times that is available at a deep discount. Please contact Pine Mills Pottery directly before placing an order for agreed upon international shipping costs.

Gifts
At the time of purchase, please let us know if it is a gift, and what note or message you may like to include.

Gift Certificates
We offer gift certificates mailed anywhere in the world. Certificates are redeemable in our physical shop or at Pine Mills Pottery: ONLINE. There is no charge for this service. Please contact us by phone or e-mail to arrange a gift certificate.

Exchanges, Refunds, and Returns
We do hope you will be completely pleased with what you receive from us. If it is not to your liking, for any reason, please notify us within 5 business days of receipt. We will gladly exchange for another piece less the shipping cost both ways. This is offered for the first exchange only, subsequent exchanges are subject to a 20% restocking charge. Upon contacting us, we will provide an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number and return instructions. Please do not return without contacting us first. Due to the limitations of this small business, no refunds are given, only exchanges if notified and within five days of receipt.

Damage in Shipping
We pack our pieces very well and insure for the full value. If you receive a piece that is damaged in shipping, please contact us immediately so that we may file a claim with the shipper. Retain all packing material for inspection by shipping company. Failure to retain packing materials and immediate notification will make it impossible to file a claim.

 How to Care For Pots
Can these pieces go in the dishwasher?
Yes, no problem.

Can these pots go in the microwave?
We only recommend putting cups or small bowls in the microwave. The problem with the plates and larger pieces is that sometimes the combination of cold food, rapid heating and its flat shape creates a problem of heat distribution and the plate can crack. This is true for most ceramic plates.

Can these pots be used on top of the stove?
Pine Mills Pottery should not be used on top of the stove on electric nor gas ranges.

Are they durable?
Yes, they are very durable under “normal” use and yes, they will break if dropped on a concrete floor.

Are they meant to be used?
Yes.

Are they food safe?
These dishes are non-toxic and lead free.

Do we have problems shipping?
No. We pack very carefully, and of course, insure the work.
