GH209 quart pitcher woodfired black, orange, and gold
Yet another very fine pitcher with stripes and a lot of ash. A black glaze at the top with a lot of wood ash from the wood kiln making gold and orange coloration, and stripes brushed on with a Japanese calligraphy brush. This is one of my standard quart (aprox.) pitchers that I first learned to make while living and working as an apprentice in England in the lat 70's. Perfect for brewing iced tea, orange juice, or a bouquet of fresh flowers.
