DH288 Landscape Handled Oval Platter

Handbuilt from slab. Fired to cone 12 in a Bourry-box Woodfired  kiln.

This is a really large handled oval platter, perfect for displaying on your table or kitchen counter all of the time, holding an assortment of fruit.  It’s big enough for your Thanksgiving turkey or a whole salmon filet, and it functions wonderfully for the presentation of a complex fresh salad or tray of meats and cheeses.  This fabulous platter is glazed in my “Woodland” pattern, with soft teal and white poured over an earthy background of rich Tenmoku, enhanced by a sensual vining trail of purple with berry-like red dots.
