DH271 11" Red Circles Platter

This 11” diameter platter can be displayed in your home, either vertically on the wall (the foot is constructed in such a way that you can hang it on a small nail) or horizontally, on a table. You can also use it as you would use any side plate, for eating or serving.  Fired in our wood kiln, there is a beautiful haze of golden-bronze ashing across the face of this platter, unobtainable in any other type of kiln.

This particular platter, in Dangerous Red against our Infinite Black glaze, has a design that, for me, refers to the concentric circles that are created when you toss a stone into a still pond, or raindrops falling on the surface of a reflecting pool, and the reverberation is infinite.

Suitable for hanging on the wall, presentation on table or serving your favorite culinary specialty. Platter does not need hanging device, only a solid anchor or hanger mounted on the wall. Platter is easily removed from the wall for use. Of course you can add one our plate stands for presentation on a shelf, hutch or sideboard. Food safe, lead free and 100% hand made by the artist.
