I have been doing a new series for the last couple of years entitled the "Carnival Series". These works are all functional pieces, with the highly refined and specific forms I am known for, with multiple colors of glaze trailed on the surfaces. Over the white glaze we have used for several decades, I will trail several different greens, purple, black, blue, chartreuse, and yellow. Another very fine pitcher here with purple and red trailing. This is one of my standard half-gallon pitchers that I first learned to make while living and working as an apprentice in England in the late 70s. Perfect for brewing iced tea, serving water, juice, or margaritas, and perfect for a bouquet of fresh flowers.
