This beautiful bowl is one in a new series I call my "carnival collection". Glazed all over in a soft satin white glaze which really accentuates the contents. I had a food critic/stylist tell me one time food alway looks best on white pottery. I agree! It has a nice surface which is a pleasure to hold, feel, and observe. Fired in the gas kiln, with glazes trailed outside include Purple, Blue, and Red. Inside the foot ring is a surprise bright red glaze seen when you turn the bowl over. A great serving piece or new member of your collection. Sure to appreciate in value.
