DH224 Oval Flower Basket

This is a handled oval basket. Daphne makes very few baskets and I am actually surprised we have two of them available in our virtual gallery. They are just beautiful and certainly a collectible piece. The richness of this piece results from a base iron saturate tenmoku glaze with a white glaze over that defines the flowers, which Daphne creates using the wax resist method of glazing. The flowers are accentuated by dots of a chartreuse green glaze. This will sell quickly I think. If you like it, make  your move!
