Another very fine pitcher with stripes and ash. A black glaze at the top with wood ash from the wood kiln, and stripes brushed on with a Japanese calligraphy brush. This is one of my standard half-gallon pitchers that I first learned to make while living and working as an apprentice in England in the late 70's. Perfect for brewing iced tea, orange juice, or a bouquet of fresh flowers.
