GH096 Large Persimmon Teapot

Teapots are one of my favorite things to make. Having worked as an apprentice for three years in England, I grew to enjoy the ritual of "tea time" and the beauty of having tea from fine hand made teapot. Of course  working for David Leach I made many teapots. I am an avid tea drinker and teapot maker. 

Glazed all over with out persimmon glaze, colors range from light gold/red to  warm brown tones. Simple, functional, and well balanced, this teapot is what I call a four person teapot. Enough tea for four to six cups of tea and a little more for each person. So about 6-8 cups. There is a strainer inside the pot so you can use loose tea as well as tea bags. The inside is all glazed in solid persimmon as well.
