In recent years I have been working with corresponding geometry in my thrown pieces. By corresponding geometry, I mean taking two curved or square geometric shapes and juxtaposing them against each other. In this beautiful bottle, I took a round form, flattened four sides, squared the top of the piece, and then used two contrasting glazes (red and black) to accentuate the contrasting geometric areas.
