These flower platters are beautiful in their own way with a flower from Daphne's garden in the center. If you know Daphne, she is all about nature, her garden and making pots, thus the flower platters. This one is inspired by a flower in her garden called the, "Texas Star Hibiscus". The platter has a rich brown/black tenmoku base glaze, wax-resist decoration and a second coat of our white glaze. Small dots of a wood chartreuse glaze are placed in the center of the flower to activate and accentuate the flowers.
