This is another of the small intimate bowls I have included in this collection. It is wood fired and glazed in what we call persimmon. The glaze on this bowl is really more like a bright brick red with gold and bronze colors. As you look under the bowl you get a surprise of a bright red surprise in the foot ring. Also on the inside is a splash of another brighter red glaze.
Bowls are really hard to photograph and the pictures do not do this little gem justice. A beautiful bowl to hold, or for serving your favorite culinary delight.
