This is a really beautiful covered box with a simple flower motif in copper red glaze over black, which results in a rich deep cosmic purple. flecked with white, as if stars in the sky. These covered boxes are very popular in our showroom. Designed to serve as a beautiful little jewel to keep on a desk or dresser for paper clips, jewelry, or special keepsakes. Daphne has two on her vanity table for cotton balls and Qtips. I use mine in our kitchen for picante sauce. When I want to serve with a meal or eat a few chips, I just pull it out of the fridge and take the lid off. Perfect for a gift. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
