This is another of the small intimate bowls I have included in this collection. It is wood fired and glazed in what we call persimmon. The glaze on this bowl is really more like a bright brick red with gold and bronze colors. As you look under the bowl you get a surprise of a bright red surprise in the foot ring. Also on the inside is a splash of another brighter red glaze. And still more color on the inside with some purple and chartreuse.
Bowls are really hard to photograph and the pictures do not do this little gem justice. A beautiful bowl to hold, or for serving your favorite culinary delight.
