DH003 Large 15" White Flower Platter

An outstanding example of Daphne's white flower pattern on a large 15" round platter. Using a technique similar to batik, called wax-resist, molten wax is painted in a design on top of the first layer of glaze with a brush. Then the second layer of white glaze is applied, as well as chartreuse highlights. All of the round platters are easily hung on the wall without a need for a stand, hanger or device, because of the design of the foot ring. Of course you can add one of our plate stands for presentation on a shelf, hutch or sideboard.  Platter makes a beautiful serving presentation piece for food.
