An elegant vase fired in the wood kiln with Daphne's Spiral Tattoo pattern. A Japanese calligraphy brush is used to do the Spiral Tattoo pattern. Black glaze has been applied on the top and inside the vase with surface variations in color created by wood ash from the kiln. The yellow, gold, and brown coloring is just beautiful on this piece. A very collectible piece.
